I attended Lightbox Expo this weekend at the Pasadena Convention center. Simply stated it was a mind blowingly awesome event!!
What a gathering of immensely talented artists in one roof. The organization of the expo was amazing for being it’s maiden year. Big tip of the hat to Bobby Chiu, the team at Schoolism, and Emerald City Comic Con founder Jim Demonakos. Demo/talks were great, well organized. Great tech support was overwhelmingly present. It was hard to choose which talk/demo because there were so many extraordinary presenters at the same time.
It was such an inspirational event!! I’m looking forward to next years already!
Let’s take a speedtree pine tree and export it to Maya. We will also change it’s shader to a Redshift material and make a low resolution version and variant versions as well.
