Simple tutorial using Arnold in Maya with displacment and then converting that heightfield to geometry.

Spent a couple short bursts to mash this piece together. I used Megascans rocks and an element from Kitbash 3d’s Egypt set. Here’s what I came up with. Here’s a wireframe of the geometry
